Our supervisory bodies

HighBreed Capital SA is authorized by the Swiss financial markets regulator (FINMA) in accordance with article 10.3 of the Swiss Federal Act of 23 June 2006 on Collective Investment Schemes. In a nutshell, The FINMA is responsible for ensuring that Switzerland’s financial markets function effectively.

HighBreed Capital LTD is regulated by the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) in the United Kingdom. This status allows HighBreed Capital to conduct its activities throughout the European Union. The FCA was established on 1 April 2013, taking over responsibility for conduct and relevant prudential regulation from the Financial Services Authority.

As a signatory of the PRI (Principles for Responsible Investment), HighBreed Capital recognizes the importance of understanding the investment implications of environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors. Indeed an economically efficient, sustainable global financial system is a necessity for long-term value creation. Such a system will reward long-term, responsible investment and benefit the environment and society as a whole.

The PRI is truly independent. It encourages investors to use responsible investment to enhance returns and better manage risks, but does not operate for its own profit; it engages with global policy makers but is not associated with any government; it is supported by, but not part of, the United Nations.
